What to Expect: A demanding ride through diverse and dramatic terrain—multi-layered landscapes, steep ascents and descents, slippery mountain sections, river crossings, and high passes with sweeping views. Preparation & Recommendation
Introduction and preparation at base camp.
Horseback ride to Palo Blanco Camp (approximately 4 hours), traversing diverse Patagonian landscapes.
Guided trek to nearby mammal fossil sites (about 2.5 hours), uncovering ancient wonders on foot.
Ride to Las Horquetas (around 6 hours), crossing rugged trails and scenic mountain passes.
Morning ride to Veranada Bonita (3 hours roundtrip from Las Horquetas Camp).
Afternoon trek to Pato Raro Mountain (about 4 hours) to explore marine fossil sites and enjoy spectacular panoramic views.
Ride to Arroyo Fica Camp (approximately 4 hours).
Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring tranquil lagoons and soaking in stunning vistas of the Northern Ice Fields.
Final ride back to Centro Errática (around 3.5 hours), marking the conclusion of your unforgettable expedition.
